WORLD DEMOLITION AWARD WINNER 2018

Mainline Demolition are delighted to announce their recent win at the World Demolition Awards in Dublin, Ireland on the 8th of November for the demolition, removal and remediation of the Old Mandurah Traffic Bridge in the City of Mandurah in Western Australia. Winning this prestigious Civil’s Demolition Award is a great honour for the Mainline team, our main contractor - Georgiou Group and our specialist engineers - Peritas Group. Working over navigable waters and being in close proximity to busy retail and leisure precincts required an innovative approach that was sensitive to environmental considerations and sympathetic to private and public assets. Completed on time, on budget and with zero harm or injury, the Old Mandurah Traffic Bridge project was completed in February 2018. Our congratulations go to the other World Demolition Award winners of their respective categories and all who entered submissions for these hotly contested awards. Link to KHL Magazine Article
